All our books are shipped via UPS ground or Priority Mail and can be expected within 3-7 days.

To get your book(s) faster, you can make a note in the special instructions area of the order form.  The price will be adjusted accordingly when your order is processed according to the chart below:

UPS Second Day AirFor UPS Second Day Air, we will add $10 to book rate fees on your order form for up to three books; additional $2.00 per book after that.




CHINA & GLASSWARE


All other items are shipped UPS Ground, insured, with signature required and will normally arrive between 2 to 7 business days depending on how far you are from Pennsylvania.  Shipping prices are estimated and may be less than indicated if small quantities are ordered.  In this case, your order will be credited.  We only contact you if shipping is going to cost more.  Tracking numbers can be emailed to you if requested so you can track  your shipment online at UPS Tracking.

*Delivery costs to places not in the continental U.S. will be calculated and emailed to you prior to being added to your charge.  Hawaii & Alaska not considered part of continental U.S.

This section applies only to those items where shipping is included in the price.  Items that do not have shipping included must be estimated prior to ordering.  

Small items with shipping included are shipped via UPS ground insured with signature required. Items such as lamp tables may be shipped "knocked down," which means disassembled at the screw joints for shipping. These pieces will be marked carefully so that reassembly is easily accomplished. We only do this in cases where the piece would be too large for shipping assembled.  If your order states UPS delivery, then you may check your web invoice for tracking number and ship date details.   

Large items with shipping included are shipped through Craters & Freights, insured, via common carrier and are professionally packed.  Delivery is to curb only . . . driver is not required to carry item into the house.  If you wish to have indoor delivery, you must specify this in the Special Instructions portion of the order form.   There is an additional charge for indoor delivery that will be quoted to you.   Even with indoor delivery, driver is not required to unpack and place item.  The reason for this is that most people are willing to carry items into the house themselves, and this results in a significant cost savings to you.  In the interests of getting the best shipping prices for our customers, we have found that this works best for all concerned.  Occasionally we will use another shipper, so please contact us to find out which carrier we have used.

Once an item has been shipped, we no longer have access to tracking information.  To find out the status of your shipment, you may call Craters & Freighters directly at 412-487-7075 and ask for Marlene or Chuck.  Or you can email them at Craters & Freighters.



PAYMENT BY CHECK or MONEY ORDER OPTION

Should you choose to pay by check or money order, you may send to address which will be emailed to you on your order form.  Please note:  we do not hold items for checks being mailed to us.  If an item sells prior to receipt of your check, we will simply void and return it to you.  For this reason, we provide online check payment through I-Check.  If you use this service, then we will hold the item for you once we receive confirmation from I-Check that your check payment has been made.  This is a secure service that we pay for to enable ordering easier for our customers.  We have used this service many times ourselves when we place orders and it is excellent.   Money orders are shipped out immediately; check orders are held 7-10 business days until check clears before item(s) are shipped.


*Books and polishes do not require signature for delivery.


The map below shows the approximate delivery times from our location via UPS.  These are "business days" and do not include weekends.  And the time in transit depends on the actual shipping date from our store but will give you an idea what to expect.
