This lovely little compact by RAC is in near mint condition ... perfect in every way except that mirror is a teeny bit cloudy, not a detriment due to its age, and certainly minor in comparison with the condition of the rest of this exquisite little piece. Very intricate guilloche designs on both front and back plus a cluster of roses in the center make it a fine work of art. Although not marked sterling, I am sure the case is sterling silver with gold vermeil wash. Interior has a framed-in mirror in the lid and a rotating covered powder sifter in base and still retains its original puff with traces of powder. Marked 'RAC' on interior frame above mirror. Measures 1-3/4" diameter.
