This little compact is absolutely stunning in person! The case is signed FM Co. and is most assuredly sterling vermeil although it is unmarked as such. The quality is just too good not to be! The entire case is beautifully done in enamel guilloche so rich that you can lose yourself in its depth ... the back, sides and front edge are pale yellow while the lid is a soft white with garland of flowers and a turquoise edge, also all enamel guilloche. The interior is fitted with a covered rouge pot in lid with swing-out mirror and a covered powder well in the base with original puff. The cover for the powder is all engine turned in a fan design. This compact is in MINT condition and is a top-of-the-line piece for the discriminating collector! Measures 2-1/8" diameter.
