This is one of the most fantastic compacts I've ever seen and it is in impeccable condition! The entire case is mint green guilloche enamel done on sterling silver base. The lid features a cloisonne' enameled parrot in a center vignette surrounded by silver-leafed branches. The back of the case is completely enameled in lovely guilloche designs. The interior is done in gold wash and features a beveled mirror in the lid which is slightly fogged due to age. The base has some hallmarks and numbers as well as the words "Made in Austria" and "Sterling Silver." It is truly a work of art . . . one of the finest you'll ever see! Measures 2-1/4" diameter.
