This wonderful figural compact is called the Petite Boudoir and was designed to be a perfect miniature of the carved golden dressing table that Marie Antoinette loved in her boudoir. This one features a mirrored surface on the top, collapsible legs, a metallic mirror inside the lid, and the original signed powder puff and screen inside. The piece has never been used and is in near mint condition with the only imperfections being a few scuffs on the mirrored top. These are mostly found in gold tone ... this is a rare silver model . Measures 3-1/2" long x 2-1/2" wide x 1-5/8" high.
